Video Editor (Part-time / Contract) - $15.00/hr.top
Selects Lacrosse is looking for a post-secondary student or recent graduate with video editing experience to assist in our recently launched Video Production Services department. This part-time, contract position is responsible for creatively editing non-linear, audio-video material used in DVD authoring and web publishing. Footage will consist mainly of highlight film and game tape, with the importance of meeting timeline benchmarks and aesthetic / stylistic standards for post production sales. Other duties may be assigned as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be familiar in a Mac environment. Advanced knowledge of iMovie and Final Cut editing platforms essential.
- Must have working knowledge of compressing video for different outputs (web, DVD etc.)
- Must be able to edit video with confidence; quickly and efficiently.
- Project management skills a plus; exceptional attention to detail.
- Well organized; capable of archiving video library footage.
- Highly motivated; able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Passion for Sports and/or Sports Management a plus.
*Ability to provide demo reel with resume is an asset but not mandatory.
