From the East:
Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) going west - take the Gaglardi Way exit 37. Follow Gaglardi Way all the way up Burnaby Mountain to SFU.
Lougheed Highway (Highway 7) going west - turn right (north) onto Gaglardi Way. Follow Gaglardi Way all the way up Burnaby Mountain to SFU.
From the West:
Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) going east - take the Gaglardi Way exit 37. Follow Gaglardi Way all the way up Burnaby Mountain to SFU.
Lougheed Highway (Highway 7) going east - turn left (north) at Gaglardi Way. Follow Gaglardi Way all the way up Burnaby Mountain to SFU.
Hastings Street (Highway 7A) going east - take the right lane exit at the traffic light at Barnet Highway (just past a pedestrian overpass). Continue onto Burnaby Mountain Parkway.
From the South (Canada/US Border):
I-5 going north - take exit 275 to 543 North / Pacific (Truck/Commercial) Border Crossing. Follow 176th Street (Highway 15). Take Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) going west. Take the Gaglardi Way exit 37. Follow Gaglardi Way all the way up Burnaby Mountain to SFU.
From the Vancouver airport:
Take Marine Way (east). Turn left (north) onto Boundary Rd. Turn right (east) onto Lougheed Highway. Turn left (north) onto Gaglardi Way. Follow Gaglardi Way all the way up Burnaby Mountain to SFU.
From the Tsawassen Ferry Terminal:
Ferry disembarks onto Hwy 17. Follow Hwy 17 to the exit for Hwy 99. Take Hwy 99 south/eastbound to Surrey and Seattle. Follow Hwy 99 East until it intercepts Hwy 91. Exit onto Hwy 91 northbound to New Westminster. Follow Hwy 91 north over the Alex Fraser Bridge. Once over the Bridge follow Hwy 91A to New Westminster. Keep in the right lane of Hwy 91A as it continues over the Queensborough Bridge. Stay in the right lane and exit onto Stewardson Way. Follow Stewardson Way through New Westminster switching to the left lane to continue as it becomes Columbia St. Columbia St. becomes North Rd as you enter Burnaby. Follow E. Columbia St./North Rd. to Lougheed Highway. Turn left onto Lougheed Highway. Turn right onto Gaglardi Way. Signs will indicate you are on the correct route for Simon Fraser University. Follow Gaglardi Way all the way up Burnaby Mountain to SFU.
From the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal:
Ferries unload onto Highway #1 East. Keep on going, over the Second Narrows Bridge and through the tunnel. Continue on #1 East until you reach the Cariboo Road Exit. Take the Cariboo Road exit and go north on Cariboo Road. Cariboo Road becomes Gaglardi Way. Follow Gaglardi Way all the way up Burnaby Mountain to SFU.
Parking
Twenty-minute courtesy parking is available for drop-off and pick-up in the Visitor Parkade (VP on Map) adjacent to the gym. Extended parking is also available in the Visitors Parkade for $3.25 an hour.

#135 bus. Daily, from the Burrard Street SkyTrain Station downtown to SFU Burnaby by way of Hastings Street, Burnaby Mountain Parkway, Gaglardi Way, University Drive East and East Campus road to SFU Exchange.
#143 bus. Monday to Friday only, from Coquitlam Station to SFU Burnaby via Lougheed Highway, Dewdney Trunk Road, Mariner Way, Como Lake Ave., Broadway, Gaglardi Way, University Drive East and East Campus Road to SFU Exchange.
#144 bus Daily, from Metrotown Station to SFU Burnaby via Central Boulevard Bonsor, Bennett, Nelson, Dover, Oakland, Burris, Canada Way, Sperling, Deer Lake Avenue, Deer Lake Place, Burnaby City Hall, Deer Lake Place, Norland, Sprott, Kensington off-ramp, Sperling, Sperling Station, Sperling, Kensington on-ramp, Broadway, Duthie, Hastings, Burnaby Mountain Parkway, Gaglardi Way, University Drive East and East.Campus Road to SFU Exchange.
#145 bus. Daily, from Production Way SkyTrain Station to SFU Burnaby via Production, Broadway, Gaglardi Way, University Drive East and East Campus Road to SFU Exchange.
#N35 Night bus. Limited night-time service throughout the week from downtown Vancouver (Howe at Pender) to SFU Burnaby via Howe, Georgia, Seymour, Hastings, Burnaby Mountain Parkway, Gaglardi Way, University Drive East and East Campus Road to SFU Exchange.
By Transit From the Tsawassen Ferry Terminal
BC Transit buses stop outside the foot passenger arrivals terminal. Take Bus #620 AIRPORT STN and exit at the Ladner Exchange (be sure to hang on to your ticket for the following part of the journey). From the Ladner Exchange, take bus #640 SCOTT RD STN to Scott Road station. From Scott Road station, take the Expo line SkyTrain in the direction of Waterfront to Columbia Station. At Columbia Station transfer to the Millennium line SkyTrain heading in the direction of VCC-Clark on the other side of the platform. Disembark the SkyTrain at Production Way/University Station. Transfer to bus #145 SFU which will take you directly to campus.
By Transit From the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal
BC Transit buses stop outside the foot passenger arrivals terminal. Take bus #250 or #257 VANCOUVER to the intersection of Georgia and Denman streets in downtown Vancouver. From Georgia and Denman, take bus #135 SFU which will take you directly to campus.
By Skytrain
The nearest SkyTrain station to SFU Burnaby is Production Way, on the Millennium SkyTrain Line. From the Production Way station, take the #145 bus which goes daily to and from the Burnaby campus.

- I-5 North - Cross the border at the Truck crossing in Blaine.
- Exit 33 off freeway.
- Keep to right onto Kensington Avenue.
- Through traffic light.
- Right onto Joe Sakic Way which leads into sports complex.
Mercer Stadiumtop
10 th Avenue @ 6 th Street , New Westminster
- Take the HWY-99 N ramp toward VANCOUVER.
- ANNACIS HWY. exit- EXIT 16- toward NEW WESTMINSTER.
- Take the HWY-91A exit- EXIT 11- toward NEW WESTMINSTER.
- Take the ramp toward 20TH ST / STEWARDSON WAY.
- 1 st RIGHT onto 20 th St.
- RIGHT onto 10TH AVE.
- Field will be on Right side just past intersection with Canada Way.
Coquitlam Town Centretop
1299 Pinetree Way, Pinewood Ave. Town Centre Sports Fields, Coquitlam
- On I-5 North, Cross the border at the Truck crossing in Blaine.
- Follow 176th Street for approximately 15 km until you reach Highway 1.
- Proceed west on Highway 1 for approximately 6 km until you reach the Port Mann Bridge.
- Exit #44 immediately following the Bridge ( Cape Horn Interchange) and follow the off-ramp to Lougheed Highway (7) East.
- Lougheed Highway for approximately 5km to an intersection where Lougheed Highway meets Barnet Highway. (Lougheed makes a right angle turn to the right at this intersection: you will follow the road straight through the intersection DO NOT TURN TO FOLLOW LOUGHEED).
- Road changes from Lougheed Highway to Pinetree Way.
- Follow Pinetree Way for about 2 km ... after crossing Guildford Way, the complex will be on your right, and you will see the artificial turf field just on the other side of the road into the complex.
