The Burnaby Mountain Selects Field Lacrosse Program is designed to train players in a professional environment to best prepare them for a collegiate field lacrosse career at Division I, II and III college programs in the United States and Collegiate lacrosse in Canada.
This Elite Touring Program will offer an elite level of instruction for experienced and developing field lacrosse players in Western Canada.
The Selects program will look to provide Canadian youth lacrosse players with exposure to the American game and the chance to get college scholarships to U.S. universities.
Practices will follow the same collegiate template used with the Simon Fraser University Men’s program. In addition to the on field practices, athletes involved in the program will compete in competition against top club and high school programs throughout North America at tournaments heavily scouted by Div I, II, III and MCLA lacrosse coaches.
Each Selects athlete will be given guidance on how to excel in the classroom and in turn will receive assistance and information on collegiate academic planning at the post-secondary level.
Each athlete will receive valuable strategies on how to successfully market themselves as prospective student-athlete to US colleges and universities and be given valuable tools on how to make an educated decision when selecting a post-secondary institution.
The level of guidance and preparation that each Selects athlete will receive regarding education and post secondary options will remove any intimidation factor of trying to get recruited to a top collegiate lacrosse program.
The ultimate objective is to assist players on their way to higher field lacrosse opportunities at either the national, collegiate or professional levels.

The Elite Touring Program will be comprised of two formal seasons; a Summer Season and a Fall Season.
Each Season (Summer and Fall) will be 3 months in duration and will include 2 high caliber US college recruiting tournaments.
